A Tip Of The Hat To 2012

It was a wonderful year that I am not likely to forget.
Amazing moments shared with a loving family and great friends. Lots of welcomed laughter, warm hugs and yes even a few tears shed. Moments I will treasure for life. As wonderful as 2012 was I can't wait to start 2013! We already have a few things lined up that I am so excited about. A trip or two here and there, maybe even a musical and if things go as planned vows will be exchanged! So here's to 2012 you gave me warmth and I'll love you forever and to 2013 hope I find exciting adventures in you!

Happy New Year!

My Head's A Spinnin'

I've been on Pinterest trying to find inspiration for my wedding. That site has my head all full with beautiful wedding images. Things like dresses and gardens and centerpieces and oh my word I'm so overwhelmed! It has me changing my mind every 5 minutes! The type of wedding cake that I want has changed several times. The type colors I want have changes a dozen times. Oh, and I won't even tell you how many times I've changes the theme. Let's put it this way I don't even have a theme right now because I'm so confused! There is just way too many pretty things to choose from! I just want to scream... but let's not go there.

Pinterest, you are driving me nuts with all your pretty pins! But I fear that I may never have the strength to leave you...

Glass Slippers!

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something BLUE!!
I love the idea of making the soles of your shoes your something blue on your big day. If you are planning your wedding or hope to someday plan your wedding and are looking for shoes like these, you can go to this site that lets you design your own shoes: Nina Shoes.

I also found these shoes on the internet:

Or Maybe make the whole shoe blue like Carrie's in Sex and the City part 1:

These are really cute too!

Hello fuchsia!

And these don't have blue soles but I wouldn't mind having them in my closet:

Whatever the shoe I'm sure your wedding will be amazing!
Thanks for stopping by!

Target Haul

I went to Target yesterday and found some pretty cool deals.
Like this bag for $5
(was $10)

And this one for $8
(was $35!)
This one had the best deal.

This clutch for $5
(was $10)

This wristlet for $7
(was $10)
Didn't save as much on this one but it's cute I had to get it.

This pretty sweater wasn't on sale but I liked it.

I also bought some skivvies but I won't be showing those bad boys. I will say this, they are colorful and lovely =D
I love Target but what I love even more is those wonderful clearance prices! I am one satisfied costumer =)

Once Upon a Haircut: The Pick

So I chose Option B.

Here's what happened.

Lily, are you sure you want to cut your hair?

"Ummm....?"
"Yikes what am I doing?!?"
"Wait how long is it? Oh, right"
(too long)
"Ok yes I'm sure. Let's do this!"

... Some time went by...

cut, cut...

snip, snip...

And the end result is...

"Ta-da!"
(not exactly like Ginnifer Goodwin's but I like it)

Exactly how much did I cut off?

"Twelve whole inches!"

Now I'm gonna take that pony tail and donate it to Locks of Love. I've been wanting to do this for some time and now I finally can.
The lady who cut my hair was a little shocked at how much I wanted to cut off. Then I told her I wanted to donate it and she understood why that much. She later asked if I was gonna watch the game tonight and I was like "Heck yeah!"
That was an awesome game by the way. Love my Mavs!
Great haircut. Great game. I'm happy.

Once Upon a Haircut: The Options

I'm getting a haircut tomorrow but I'm still unsure about the cut.

I'm seriously contemplating a pixie like Emma Watson's.
I think it's really pretty.

Option A

Or a little longer like Michelle Williams's.
Her pixie is a little more girly.

This is the closest I've come to a pixie (a 'bob')

I might just end up getting Ginnifer Goodwin's cut.
It might be a little more me.

Option B

This is 'the flip' I got a couple years ago.
I really liked it.

But then I grew it out.
And now it's super long and it takes an hour to do my hair.
Tomorrow I'll say goodbye to this.

And this.

Goodbye LONG wavy/straight hair!
I'm pretty excited and a little sad.
Mostly excited though.
Who know's what I'll pick tomorrow.
I just know I'm ready to cut it off.
Although I could just cut a few inches off and add layers like this.

Option C

My version (this was years ago)

So my options are:
A) A Pixie
B) Short (just above the shoulders)
C) Medium length w/layers
(Your thoughts and opinions are more than welcome)
